Transparent Pricing & Simple Rebates for Your Foot Health

At Glide Podiatry, we believe in providing high-quality, evidence-based care with complete price transparency. Whether you are visiting our Hendra Clinic or utilising our Mobile Podiatry services, we make it easy to understand your costs and claim your rebates.

    Note: Home visit fees include 5 minutes of travel. For visits further than 5 minutes from Hendra, please contact us for a travel quote.

    • Biomechanical Assessment: $37 (Item 118)

    • Shockwave Therapy (Per Area): $20 (Item 145) – In addition to the consult fee.

    • Partial Nail Avulsion (Single edge): $470 (Item 546)

    • Total Nail Avulsion: $550 (Item 547)

    • Additional Nail Edge: $80 (Item 548)

    • Customised Nail Brace: $60 (Item 344)

  • Package Price: $803

    This all inclusive package covers your assessment, scanning, and device. For health fund quotes, use this breakdown:

    • Biomechanical Assessment: $37 (Item 118)

    • Negative Cast / 3D Scan (x2): $100 ($50 per foot - Item 301)

    • Custom Orthosis (x2): $420 ($210 per foot - Item 221)

    • Orthosis Cover (x2): $60 ($30 per foot - Item 381)

    • Fitting & Follow up: $93 (Item 012)

    Duplicate pairs ordered at the same time: $480 (includes covers).

  • Private Health Insurance

    We provide HICAPS for on-the-spot claiming. Please use the item codes listed above to check your specific rebate amount with your provider.

    Medicare (CDM / EPC Plans)

    We accept valid Chronic Disease Management plans.

    • Rebate: Approximately $60.35.

    • Process: Payment is required in full on the day. We will then process the Medicare claim so the rebate is paid directly to your bank account.

    DVA Gold Card Holders

    All services for Gold Card holders (and specific White Card holders) are Bulk Billed directly to DVA. No out-of-pocket expense.

    NDIS & Workcover

    • NDIS: We support Self-Managed and Plan-Managed participants. Fees are billed according to the NDIS 2025-2026 scheduled hourly rates.

    • Workcover: Please provide your case number and manager's details. Prior approval from WorkSafe is required.

    • Payment: Required at the time of consultation. We accept EFTPOS and major Credit Cards.

    • Cancellations: A $50 fee applies for cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24 hours' notice.

    Validity: These fees are current from July 2025 to June 2026.

If you have Podiatry extras, you can submit the paid invoice with the payment receipt to your private health insurance online or in person

Your health insurance will provide a rebate back to your nominated bank account.

HICAPS is currently only available for home visit appointments.

We offer bulk billed services for DVA (Gold Card) holders.

Home visits can be provided based on distance from our location

More About Home Visit

Chronic Disease Management (CDM)

We accept valid CDM plans, these are also known as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC), or Team Care Arrangement (TCA).

Department of Veteran’s Affair (DVA)

DVA Gold Card holders (or White Card holders with Podiatry specific injury) have their visit bulk billed at Glide Podiatry.

Workcover

We accept work cover claims, please ensure that prior approval from WorkSafe is obtained. We will require the details of your case number, and case manager.

NDIS

We provide service to plan and self-managed NDIS patients.

Bulk billed Podiatry appointments

Medicare and DVA

Eligible Medicare referrals will provide a rebate for the standard consultation fee.

Clients with a valid DVA referral are offered bulk billing for all services at Glide Podiatry.

  • No, you do not need a referral from your general practitioner to see a Podiatrist. However, if you have any letters or specific information regarding your problem, bring it along to your appointment.

    We accept chronic disease management plans, more information below.

  • Chronic Disease Management (CDM) referrals can be granted by your GP. These plans allow for up to 5 Medicare rebates for Podiatry service each calendar year.

    This is available for clients with complex chronic medical conditions such as Diabetes.

    Referrals must have a number allocated for Podiatry, have a date of referral within the valid period.

    If you are not eligible for a plan, you will unlikely get a rebate from Medicare for your Podiatry Visit

  • DVA Gold Card holders (or white card with conditions requiring Podiatry care) can attend Glide Podiatry services bulk billed.

    A D904 referral from your GP is required prior to your appointment

  • As of July 1st 2025, the Medicare rebate is $61.80 to clients with an eligible referral.

    The full fee is paid on the day, and Medicare will process a payment back into your bank account shortly after.
